      Uwet rice is a legendary culinary in Pekalongan region. This culinary food is called Uwet because it comes from mutton or offal which is tied, if in Javanese it is called Uwet. Zarkasi Uwet rice form is almost the same in general. rice is equipped with jackfruit vegetable, goat meat, tripe, or intestine that is bound, and processed goat sauce that is brown. at first glance if seen the same as curry. but different. Unlike curry, although both are made from goats, the spices used in Uwet rice are relatively simpler. The tied innards or Uwet are cooked with a broth dominated by cinnamon spices and ginger.
   
      The term of Uwet rice is actually a processed goat meat that is usually served to people who have a desire. However, this food is different because it is served in a thick form without sauce. How to make Uwet rice? It turns out that the process is not so complicated. After the goat meat is washed clean, then boiled until tender. After tender, the spices and herbs are added. Wait a minute and ready to eat. Spices are very common such as pepper, pepper, fried onion, onion, white, and ginger. Uwet rice seasoning turned out to be similar to seasoning for curry. The difference, Uwet rice seasoning does not use coconut milk, do not use turmeric, do not use lemongrass, and replaced with soy sauce.

   
      In one portion of Zarkasi Uwet Rice, there are three bundles of meat or goat innards. The taste is indeed fresh, especially if eaten with a special Pekalongan megono. In addition to savory, there is also a spicy taste like spices on the seasoning. It is usually served with soy sauce as well, for customers who want to feel more spicy. An affordable price, also makes many residents who crossed the City of Pekalongan chasing it.



      Uwet Rice Haji Zarkasi only exists in Pekalongan, and there are no branches elsewhere. The location is on Sulawesi street number 25, Kelurahan Bendan Kergon, West Pekalongan. Which is open from 7am to 11pm. One portion of normal size, Uwet Rice Hj Zarkasi is priced at only Rp. 17,000. As for the small package, Zarkasi Uwet Rice is only priced at Rp 10,000.
